Readers' Christmas Carol
Readers Theater
Instructor: Barbara Dansby
Barbara will be returning to Family Theatre with Readers Theater
for the third year. This is a wonderful class to get your children involved in drama. The class will begin on
Thursday August 26th
at 4:00pm at Rose Hill Baptist Church
2100 Hamilton Rd.
Barbara is a certified elementary teacher who resigned her teaching position to home school her daughter. This will be her third year teaching Readers Theater. She has been involved with Family theatre for years making costumes, building sets, directing and teaching.
Barbara will be doing a children's version of A Christmas Carol this semester. Call Barbara for more information at 706-761-5748.
Barbara Dansby is a certified elementary school teacher who resigned her teaching position to homeschool
her daughter. This will be her fourth semester teaching Readers Theater. She designed and made the costumes and sets for these classes. Barbara has also helped make costumes and sets for several Family Theatre and Expressions Arts productions. She also directed Where The Heart Is, an American Girls play at Family Theatre. Cost $40 per month.
Magic Class
Beginning Magic Tuesday 5:00. Beginning $40/month. There will be a $35 supply fee for this class.

Jason Cardwell is the Associate Pastor at Eastern Heights Baptist Church. Jason has been a professional magician for a number of years and recently opened for magician Mick Stone at Family Theatre. Cost $40 per month.

Julie Massey
Julie has been sewing since she was twelve and has been painting
for over twenty years. She holds instruction certifications in both sewing
and painting. Julie teaches One Stroke Painting, a technique that she learned through
study with the creator, Donna Dewberry. Julie was personal assistant to Ms. Dewberry
and the director of the One stitch Quilting program for Dewberry Designs.
Julie will be teaching the following classes:
One stroke Club: Class meets weekly. Wednesdays 9-11am.
$10.00 per class.
One Stroke Basics: This class is 3 weeks long. $60.00 for the course
including all supplies.

Julie Massey has been sewing since the age of 12. She has been a painter for about 20 years. Julie holds several certifications in both sewing and painting. She was a personal assistant to Donna Dewberry, the creator of the One Stroke (tm) method of painting which brought decorative painting to everyone.
Learn basic sewing through projects designed to teach techniques of sewing. Cost $120 (may be paid in three payments of $40 each)
