This original play by Scott Keen is first being produced by
Family Theatre. It was a drama in 3 acts that instills in each
of us that we should never let go of our imagination. In the
play we find that Emily has come to live with her Aunt & Uncle.
The Aunt is a bitter lady that doesn't allow for any fun or play.
Emily discovers a doll that has been hidden away in a trunk.
As the play progresses we see the doll come to life. Her
connection with Emily and the entire family restores what
had been hidden away.
Director's notes: This is such a well-written script with such
a rich message. There is a balance of drama, mystery, and
tension that takes the audience member through a discovery
that becomes truly heartfelt in the final scene.
This play is recommended for ages 10 and up.
